Little Andys Stealers
were born in May 2001, and have a first class reputation for playing only the
very best rock and blues music
Formed by guitarist Andy Douse, joined by John Douse on bass and Jason Phipps on
drums (now replaced by stickman Martyn Alsop), this tight and talented trio do
it all, from the melodic tones of BB King one minute, to blistering Jimi Hendrix
the next.
They have played at countless pub venues in the Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, and Buckinghamshire areas, as well as some of the top local festivals.
In 2003 LAS were invited to open on the main stage at Banbury blues festival,
where fellow performer and delta blues legend Kent Duchaine commented that
"little Andys Stealers were simply awesome". They have one release
"Almost Live" from 2002, and another planned for 2005.
