Gloucester Rhythm and Blues gets off to a Scorching Start

The Gloucester Rhythm and Blues Festival started last Saruday, the 23rd of July, and was a great start to the nine day long blues festival. With great weather over the weekend, people were out in force in Gloucester over the weekend which event Coordinator Tim Porter says made the weekend kick off that much more special:

”The Rhythm & Blues Festival got off to a fine start over the weekend. Too many great performances to single anyone out, all helped by the warmer spell of weather. There is a huge mix of styles this year from the gentle Texan Country Blues of Brennen Leigh and Noel McKay at the New Inn on Tuesday evening through to the full on Blues Rock of The Worried Men at Cafe Rene on Thursday. Lots in between too with Peppers offering 6pm starts in their courtyard to get the mood established”.

Head to the ‘Schedule and Performers’ Tab and the top of the website to see all the other acts still to come for the Gloucester Rhythm and Blues Festival!
